Have you ever wanted to try your hand at playwriting, but aren’t sure where to start?
This workshop is a fun and accessible guide to getting you started.
Together, we will look at the tried and tested structure that makes a good story.
You will learn easy techniques of how to spark the imagination, and how to draw inspiration from the world around you.
You will learn how to create characters and how to make them unusual, heroic or mysterious.
We will work together as a group or in pairs, so you’ll always have someone to discuss ideas with.
By the end of the session, you’ll have all the tools you need to begin your very own play!
All you need is a pen and paper to jot down a few ideas, and your own creativity!
Suitable for absolute beginners, no experience necessary.
