Come and learn how to fake it as a Boxer.
Using real techniques, we explore some sneaky cheats of how to swiftly look convincing. Throwing some knockout punches we will use the Rocky soundtrack as inspiration as we come up to scratch with a full on interactive fight routine.
No acting experience is needed
and you don't even need to be fit.
You will need:
Any pair of gloves, (wooly, golfing, boxing, inflatable, even a pair of socks will do)
Enough space around you to step back and forth a couple of steps and to outreach your arms in all directions (so approx 2m sq.)
Ruth Cooper-Brown is a Fight Director, Stage Combat Teacher, Examiner and a member of Equity the BADC and the Intimacy Practitioners Guild.
She loves teaching Dramatic Violence and believes the best way to learn is to have fun!
