Accents are not only fun, they can be a useful tool for actors and voice actors.
They make it easier to distinguish between characters in an audiobook, help to instantly create a character for a video game or an animation, and will sometimes be the reason why you did or didn't land that job.
You never know when you’ll have a week only to learn an Australian accent for an audition or get to read an audiobook with 5 different nationalities in it.
This course will teach you how to learn and perfect any accent whenever you need to.
This course is for you if:

Hi, I’m Sandra
I'm a blind voiceover artist.
I’m also a classically trained soprano singer, a stage and TV actor and a radio presenter.
As a voice actor, I’ve worked on animations, audiobooks, commercials, explainers, radio and more.
But my special love is for learning and using different accents.
I can convincingly speak with accents from America to New Zealand plus multiple UK regions.
Listening is a key skill in learning an accent.
As a blind performer, I’ve had a lifetime of this and I’m so excited to teach you how to listen and what you need to pay attention to
so you too can learn any accent you want.
How to know you've mastered an accent:

You can easily stick to it for a long time without accidentally slipping into your native or another accent.

You can improvise a dialogue with someone in that accent
-
You can express different emotions - being angry, laughing, getting excited etc and never lose the accent.

You use not only the sounds of the accent but also the local dialect - special words, grammar and phrases.

Your native accent is beautiful.
